Heelfire: The Showcase information may be updated. Please check back here from time to time!
Heelfire: The Showcase is a showcase open to ANY one and any BODY regardless of shape, size, race, sexuality, ability, neuro-type or gender. Still keeping the intimate feel of Heelfire Club, the showcase will be hosted in small theatre spaces so performers can explore dancing on a stage with all the thrills and glamour. Lights, photos, guest performers and workshops, this showcase has it all!
Every performer package comes with two guest tickets for friends and family. This helps cultivate the warm, supportive environment Heelfire has become known for. The event is kept private to protect all attendees with tickets being advertised only via this website, our Instagram and Facebook pages and via all attendees. The venue will not publicly advertise the event for our safety.
We encourage marginalised people to come and share their message and dancing and offer discounted tickets for low income people and SWers. DM in advance of the ticket sale for a discount code.

The venue is approximately an hours drive from Momentum Pole and Aerial where the associated workshops will be held the following day.

Heelfire is all about providing a safe space for people to share their movement. Some performers are quite experienced and others have never danced in front of people before. The more experienced performers may still be nervous and the brand new might be confident... you never know. So make sure you support everyone equally with claps and cheering unless told otherwise! Sometimes it's so easy to get mesmerised by a performance and the audience ends up being quite quiet. That's ok - it happens, but try to make extra noise at the end for anyone who leaves you speechless throughout.
It's so important you don't hold conversations during performances. It can be very distracting for performers and it can potentially affect their confidence.
Costume malfunctions happen and not everyone will just shake it off. Although you may see more than you bargained for, the correct response is to cheer them on!
